A few weeks ago, while on vacation in some beautiful northern Italian cities, in Padua, I came across the window of a historic record store, GABBIA DISCHI, established in 1920.
You can imagine my surprise to see that among the records in the window was also displayed prominently the recent vinyl edition of "Alchemy," released by Esoteric Recordings.
This was an unexpected event, also because record stores are becoming increasingly rare, unfortunately...

ReplyDeleteTo remind you, that I was Paul Minns first wife, Mrs Mary Minns-for 9 to 10 years, (1969- 1982 and, yes, we have three children, Matthew Minns, Tristram Minns and Amber Minns. When we become divorced, Paul Minns married Katherine Ade and was married to her for 16years. The sad reality is that Katherine Minns went to Morocca for one month, and this sad result led to Paul Minns very sad suicide on the 8 November 1998. Obviously, I know that you hold all relevant information which would be greatly appreciated. Today, 1 March 2023, I am rewriting to you to again state that Katherine Minns has died, and therefore, all future relevant information would still be gratefully received. I was contacted by Red Cherries Records as Paul Minns sole living relative, (first wife) and since I was Paul Minns wife for 10 years, with three children - any information should be relevant to me. Paul Minns children have 6 grandchildren.
It is useful that my background Ms Mary Hayes MA MGM and relevant- for example, I have two degrees, and a Master of Arts, alternatively,
my background career is noted as a Art Historian/ and later as a painter. Since I will be 80 years in 2023.
(I've sent you various photographic details concerning myself and Paul Minns wedding in 1969 plus.
The impact of all Third Ear Band information does regard to, Matthew Minns, (two grandchildren) Tristram Minns (one grandchild) and Amber Minns (three grandchildren) and to myself since 1980s plus) So far, since 2017, I have, not received any uo-to-date information. What does concern me is that I received a letter from an old of friend of Paul Minns who then addressed me "Mary Hayes"?

DeleteI honestly don't understand what you mean in the post you published here. In this archive, as you can easily verify, I have given all the space to you and your children by publishing two interviews with you, photos from the family archive (with your permission) and other news about your family history.
In addition, as you may recall, I put Cherry Red Records/Esoteric Recordings in touch on the occasion of the remastering of the catalog, since all copyrights to the work are to be divided among the direct heirs. Since then, apart from the release of my book, the result of years of research work and constant publication (free of charge) on this archive of original materials and interviews, I don't think there have been any relevant significant events, especially in terms of copyright. All the CDs published by Gonzo Multimedia, for which I was compensated with pennies for editing the booklets, should have resulted in some income to your children in terms of royalties, but I have no idea.
In any case, I invite you to contact me anytime you want on the private email (dopachino@tiscali.it), it will be a real pleasure for me to exchange a few words with you.
