Old TEB stuff found in the Internet.

Here you can watch three rare TEB stuff emerged from the Internet Big Sea:

- a beautiful pink poster (drawed by Sweeney) from  a concert played at Middle Earth on October 31th, 1967 with the Soft Machine:

- this one from an "Implosion" event at the London Roundhouse on November 8th, 1970 with Soft Machine and Brinsley Schwarz:

- this page taken fron the "Evening News" with infos about the Hyde Park concert played on July 18th, 1970 (with Pink Floyd and Edgar Broughton Band) with a well-known picture of the band as a quartet.

As always these precious documents will be insert on the historical files of the Archive (here).

The true heir of TEB's music founded!

Thanks TEB fan Spirito Bono (one of the few TEB's diggers!), after all these years we have found probably the real true heir of Third Ear Band's music!
As you know, this is one of the main, favourite Ghettoraga Archive's cultural debate, since TEB fans and the so-called 'specialized rock press' use to detect music and musicians that seem to the 'true spirit' of Our Holy Band.
Of course, after having listened to lot of tracks (often documented in this Archive), very few of this is real and in fact there's no bands effectively getting that unique flavour of TEB's music.

But a little example exists and it is this Japanese obscure band called Freemason's Black Brain (any infos about it will be very appreciated!).
They have a track (likely titled "Why"...?) on a very rare  compilation ("Lubb-Dupp - Psycotronic Methamorphosys II" published by LLE Label in 1982) and thanks Spirito Bono you can download it at: https://we.tl/Hu63rTlb3S (but just few days left).
Listen to it and tell what do you think about... I think you will be very astonished as I was the first time I've listened to it!

Roger Dean's original painting for TEB "Macbeth" cover has been auctioned at Ewbanks in September 2016 (read here).
These was the description of the item:

Provenance: Purchased directly from the artist. Roger Dean is best known for his work on posters & album covers for musicians, which he began painting in the late 1960s. The artists for whom he did the most art are English rock bands Yes & Asia. The covers often feature exotic, fantasy landscapes. his work has sold more than sixty million copies worldwide.
".

Estimated £3,000 - £5,000, it seems the painting is still available for buying.

Steve Pank's "electric universe" theory.

Steve Pank, former promoter and driver man of Our Magic Band, husband of violin player Ursula Smith, is also an expert of Other Worlds, science and ambient.
Here below you can watch a 55' video interview (with Piers Corbyn) about the fascinating "electric universe" theory he made in 2016 for Web portal "Windows of the World".
